Whilst some of the general ineptitude out in the region can become wearing, there’s no disputing that being here opens up a host of new experiences.
So it was last night as I ended up playing round the clock (darts) with some bloke from Bogota and his special friend, from India. Neither of them had played before and simply explaining the game was a challenge in itself. “This segment is 1, hit that and then you’re on this segment, 2”. 😂
It was a while sinking in and I recall uttering the immortal line, “you know how numbers work, yes?”. Ha! Quite a giggle actually and a sound enough pair of chiels.
